Expert Lending has secured a new institutional funding line from Renaissance Asset Finance, a subsidiary of the private and commercial bank, Arbuthnot Latham, marking a key stage in the lender’s growth and strengthening its position in the bridging market.
Founded by Bruce Burkitt, Expert Lending combines a focused, hands-on approach with over 30 years of property and finance experience. The business has quickly established itself as a reliable, relationship-driven lender delivering certainty of execution for professional borrowers.
Since the opening of its Mayfair office in May 2025, Expert Lending has deployed exclusively its own capital, originating over £15 million of loans while building a strong performance track record and refining its underwriting model ahead of introducing institutional funding.
The facility will support increased lending capacity, investment in operational infrastructure and continued expansion across the professional borrower market.
The business has built its reputation on a relationship-led approach, deep property expertise and a consistent ability to deliver on commitments.
